Laser engraving is a process that utilizes a power source (either CO2, Fiber, or UV) which creates a laser beam that vaporizes materials into fumes to engrave permanent, deep marks. The laser beam reflects off a series of mirrors which move the laser beam with extreme precision, acting as a chisel, incising marks by removing layers from the surface of the material. The laser hits localized areas with massive levels of energy to generate the high heat required for vaporization & annealing. This results in high precision, permanent etching. Almost any material can be laser engraved, including glass, metal, wood, some plastics, leather and much more. Our laser cutting capabilities are limited to wood, leather and some plastics.
